Studying abroad in London? You don’t have to navigate it alone. 💛
Studying abroad is exciting and full of amazing possibilities — but it can also feel disorienting, lonely, and more overwhelming than you expected.
I am an American based in London; I have worked for over a decade as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (US) in private practice in New York City and Boston, supporting college students navigate anxiety, relationships, academic pressure, social media, and growing independence. While I am not practicing as a therapist in the UK, I now offer life coaching focused on personal development and adjusting to life abroad.
For those from the U.S. 🇺🇸, the UK may seem similar to home. Yet subtle cultural differences can leave you feeling unexpectedly off-balance. These experiences can be hard to articulate — and you don’t have to process them alone.
It’s completely normal to feel both grateful and challenged. You can love being here and still miss home deeply.
My coaching approach is warm, practical, and grounded in evidence-based principles. While coaching is not therapy, it offers steady, thoughtful support during this time in your life.
I offer 1:1 50-minute sessions over Zoom, and I welcome you to schedule a free introductory call.

A Note on Credentials
I am a U.S.-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working specifically with college students. Because I am based in London, I offer coaching rather than psychotherapy. If you require clinical mental health treatment, I am happy to help you identify appropriate local resources.
Service and Leadership
I also serve as an active board member of the Society for the Relief of Women and Children, a longstanding non-profit organization based in NYC. 🌸
